The Garden & Nursery
Our hillside garden of 4-5 acres on the southern slope of
Mt Bullengarook has been established in a formerly open windswept paddock, but
is now well sheltered.
The plants grown need to be good survivors in a climate
with dry summers and cold winters. |
 |
 |
The Garden features:
- many native trees and shrubs
- perennials and cottage plants
- fruit trees
- striking scenery & views
|
The number and variety of native plants attracts a large bird
population, especially honeyeaters, blue wrens, rosellas, wattlebirds, scrub
wrens and grey thrush. |
 |
 |
The garden also provides an extensive range of seed
& cuttings for the nursery.
Visitors are welcome during Autumn and Spring
However, please ring first
to avoid the dissapointment of not finding us at home. |
