The Garden & Nursery

Our hillside garden of 4-5 acres on the southern slope of Mt Bullengarook has been established in a formerly open windswept paddock, but is now well sheltered.

The plants grown need to be good survivors in a climate with dry summers and cold winters.

The Garden features:

  • many native trees and shrubs
  • perennials and cottage plants
  • fruit trees
  • striking scenery & views

The number and variety of native plants attracts a large bird population, especially honeyeaters, blue wrens, rosellas, wattlebirds, scrub wrens and grey thrush.
